08th MS team obsession!

So I have an obsession with the 08th MS team from Mobile Suit Gundam. These are some of the newest editions to my obsession. I already have quite a 5 painted RX-79(G)'s, an Ez8 and lastly a RGM-79(G). Now the Ez-8 is for sale. EDIT: It was for sale. Another Blogger/Forum Poster has picked it up. Here is an image of the small, unpainted collection I have of the 08th MS Team, soon to be minus the Ez8.

I will definitely post more as the works of these get put into place.

Finished Revel 1968 Dodge Charger R/T

So, I really learned a lot on this build... Bandai really spoils gunpla builders with how they setup the sprues and instructions. There were multiple times I had no idea where a part had to go besides a general location. I know the finish isn't totally smooth but this is due to the issues I had with the Clear red earlier in the build. (I think I joined one a while back and got caught up with school and never finished.... All comments and critiques are welcome and encouraged :)

Revell 1968 Dodge Charger R/T

So I figured I would take a break from gunpla and do something a bit different. I finally decided i'd pick up a car kit. Picked up a Revell '68 Dodge Charger R/T. I couldn't resist. So here it is, I will be making this into the Street Legal version since its a 2 in 1 kit. I do like that they give the option though and all the decals for both versions. Very nice looking kit from the looks of the box.

1/100 MG MSM-07 Z'Gok

So I meant for this Z'Gok to look like he was some Zeon Relic. Something that would have been placed in a museum. So, its a very very clean build with a few mods. The colors used were all Model Masters colors. The Dark blue was a Deep Sea Blue. The Medium Blue is Drenkshun Blue. The Light blue is a mix of a Flat White and Drenkshun blue about a 10-1 ratio. The Chrome color is a Chrome Silver Trim and lastly, I used a Flat black. I am very happy with how the colors came out. The decals are the Dry Transfer Decals that came with the Z'gok. I did not use the stickers since they do not look good on the kit and there is no way to make them fade into the paint without looking terrible.

08th MS Team Desert Scheme Team

So I decided that I liked the Desert Scheme for the RX-79(G) I did for the group build on Gundam Eclipse and decided a whole team would look great. So here is the finished Project:

The kit is finally done! and I have to say, I like it so much I'll probably be doing a team of these now instead of just the one!!!

Crossbone Full Cloth X3 paint scheme is done!

SO she is done :D I'll eventually go back and do some panel lines but other than that. I now present to you the Crossbone Gundam Fullcloth X3 Color scheme This is my first Gundam using a dual Acton Airbrush!

And some better pictures too :D I'm really loving the colors for the X-3 design. Glad I decided to go with the Model Masters French Blue. Its a very vibrant blue when mixed with all the other colors on the suit. I've also used Tamiya Flat red, Tamiya Yellow, and Tamiya Flat White.

Got some more work done :D I'm loving the colors and this is a lot of fun to work on. Loving the new airbrush as well. This has turned out to be a great project. I'll update more tomorrow :D

Back to the blog! With the crossbone!

So as time has gone on, i've decided to come back to this blog. I want to keep track of my original intention and track my growth as a modeller. Currently i'm working on the Crossbone Fullcloth.


So I am doing this up for the Mecha 2012 contest I would have done it for this as well.. I'm detailing the frame a bit for the first time really :D
